The Gemini Personality

Evolved: Gemini has an abundance of mental energy. He craves variety and diversity and must express everything he feels and thinks. He excels in research, literature and art. His goal in life is to make everything more beautiful, interesting, stimulating and fresh for himself and those around him. He must understand the reasoning behind everything. He will rarely take anything at face value and strives to understand. Gemini has a striving for expression and is never content to suffer alone. Sympathy and appreciation are always welcome, especially if it is about his mental abilities.



Gemini has little loyalty to lost causes, or any cause for that matter. He will easily abandon tasks and relationships. But he is also likely to resume abandoned work or relationships as easily as he dropped them. His moods change quickly, as do interests, expressions, and even his appearance. He is never tied to routine. However when involved with something or someone, he throws himself into it whole heartedly. And his particular point of view at the moment is held to be the right and only one for himself and for others. Gemini can become dogmatic.

In relationships, Gemini isn’t concerned about conventions. Age, race, social standing, and so forth are irrelevant to him. He looks for inspiration, intellectual support and companionship in a partner.
Base: The Base Gemini is often a thief. He can become a bandit with no moral sense of guilt or remorse. He is always looking for ways to feed his ego or further his physical or intellectual development. He is always soliciting support from others. When unhappy, he won’t rest until he loudly and constantly tells everyone about it.

He has a constant need for excitement, novelty, diversity. He cannot do any sort of routine work, even housekeeping. He often feels that the world owes him, and resents taking a back seat to anyone. In literature, the Base type of Gemini is well described in Dickens’ The Artful Dodger.

Both Types: Both types of Geminis are prone to like the limelight. They are capable of quick and complete changes of mind and mood. They are never comfortable in poverty and expect to be wealthy. They often find themselves in debt.

The thing that threatens the Gemini health most is physical or mental exhaustion. He will go until he drops. He needs plenty of sleep, fresh air and sunshine.
