Aquarius Personality

Evolved : Aquarian has an unbiased and open mind without prejudice or superstition. He is never bound by tradition or custom, but prefers to go his own way, in his own style. When he is bound by tradition or custom, he faces them with tranquility and serenity, but eventually will go on and “do his own thing.” He is a truthseeker and seeks truth in the most unconventional places. He is neither militant nor aggressive. He waits patiently for wisdom.
But as he pursues truth, he clings tenaciously to his belief of the moment. Only after many years of study, does he realize that all truths are valid, and that the more he knows, the more he knows that he does not know. He is compelled to pass on what he knows to others, but only after it has been proven true to his own experience. He seeks to know.

The Aquarian makes friends, but not many close ties. He is more concerned with the welfare of the world as a whole than the concerns of the individual. He looks at life’s problems from the outside rather than from the center. He will study, scrutinize, and analyze the actions, thoughts, and words of others in order to learn how to rectify a situation. The Aquarian looks more to the future than the past, and has a short memory for feelings and emotions. He is also so inquiring that he is sometimes accused of being nosy, blunt, and rude.

Base : This Aquarian has a narrow vision of the world. He lives in a hazy world of confusion. He usually has so many things to do that he does nothing effectively. He is busy being busy. He has a lack of imagination and little or no tact. He is lazy and cowardly, and will maintain personal peace at any price. This type of Aquarian is often naive, confused, bewildered by life. He also ignores any convention and often leads the most bizarre life, wandering from place to place, doing odd and unusual jobs.

Both Types: Are unusual, distant, independent, often considered eccentric. They often marry late in life, or marry often. Many Aquarians are naturally psychic and experience life in a slightly offbeat way. If they come into fame, they are distinguished and their fame is long lasting. Aquarians’ lives are dotted with unexpected ups and downs, drastic changes in opinion, belief and lifestyle. They make few emotional attachments, but when they do it is deep and lasting. The fictitious Auntie Mame, as portrayed by Rosiland Russel, is an Aquarian portrait.
